Last week, we focused on letter Dd,..先週はアルファベットDの学習をしました。
- We learned uppercase and lowercase Dd and sound. Dの大文字と小文字と発音の学習をしました。
- We practiced letter Dd writing. Dの書き方の練習をしました。
- We read letter Dd book together and we did coloring inside the book. Dの文字に関する本を一緒に読み、色ぬりをしました。
- We did letter Dd white board tracing and worksheet ホワイトボードやプリントを使ってDの文字をなぞって練習しました。
- Dd vocabulary: Dog, doctor, donuts, dinosaur, drum, daisy, dance. Dから始まる単語を学びました。
Next week: We will focus on letter Ee. 来週はアルファベットEの学習をします。

Who We Are - All About Me - My Body - Face 自分自身についての学習：私の身体と顔
- This week was Who We Are, All About Me, My Body . 今週のテーマは自分自身についてと自分の身体の各部分についてでした。
- We played body parts bingo and “Simon Says” games. Ex: "Simon says 'Touch your nose', 'Touch your ears' " 身体の各部分の名前を使ったビンゴゲームと「サイモンは〜を触るようにと言っています」と先生が言ったら生徒さんがその身体の部分を指すというゲームをしました。
- We also used play dough in making eyes, ears, mouth, nose, and hair in finding the missing face parts game. We asked students to fill blank face sheet with play dough parts. また、粘土を使って目や耳や鼻や髪の毛など顔のパーツを造り、顔の形が印刷されたシートの上に乗せて顔を完成させる遊びもしました。
- Body vocabulary:eyes,ears,nose,mouth,head,chin,cheeks,hair,arms,legs,shoulder,hand and feet etc.身体の部分に関わる「目・耳・鼻・口・頭・あご・頬・髪・腕・脚・肩・手・足」などを表す英単語を覚えました。
- Weekly question examples; How many eyes do you have? How many fingers do you have? Or Can you eat with your nose? What can you do with your ears? Etc. 今週は「みんな目はいくつありますか？」「指は何本ありますか？」「鼻や耳で物を食べることができますか？」などの質問をしたりしました。
Emergency Drill: Stranger Danger 侵入者を想定した避難訓練
This week, we had stranger danger drill. Children behaved well and followed directions thus completed drill successfully. It was third drill in this school year after fire and earthquake.
Children know how to behave when they hear keywords.
今週は侵入者が学校に出現した場合を想定した避難訓練を行いました。子供達は速やかに教師の指示にしたがって動き、避難訓練は成功に終わりました。地震と火災の避難訓練に続き三度目の訓練でした。先生の指示に従って適切に動くことができるようになりました。
