Connection to Buildings as Giants

Week 5: How the World Works: Connection to Buildings as Giants

Kids love building structures, and learning how they are made.

In the week's lesson, we talked about the connection to Buildings as Giants.

Inquiry:

We gathered all their ideas about the giants and buildings and they described the giants as strong, big, heavy, long and tall. On the other hand, they described buildings as tall, big, strong and heavy, almost the same.

We walked around the neighborhood and checked the buildings around the area.

Fun fact: Didn't know that in the vicinity, there is a clinic and a pharmacy. Funny how it seems, but I learned it through them. What a shame, been living here for a year and I didn't even know that there is a clinic and a pharmacy nearby.

This is how the world works, your students are learning from you and you are learning from them as well.
