Why Do We Need to Express Ourselves

Week 3: How to Express Ourselves: Why Do We Need to Express Ourselves?

The art of self- expression. Every person is unique. We all have our differences. And every person needs an outlet that will allow them to release stress or tension, the kind of mood that they feel at the moment in a healthy way, either shared with others or kept to themselves.

People, in general, need different ways to express themselves. This term, we will explore and learn different ways on how to express ourselves.

This time, they were asked to dance according to the music/rhythm.

More videos coming next week as to how each group collaborated and came up with 5 steps for a dance.

Health is Wealth

Week 2: Health is Wealth

Sadly but most of our students were sick and we only have a day at school this week. Children have been sick after the long holiday and it has been slowly spreading. To avoid the flu from spreading more in the class and at school, we have decided to shut down the class.

We will resume our class next week and hopefully, we will all be complete so we can start with the practice and preparation for the year-end performance.

In the meantime, as promised last week, please enjoy the rest of the videos.

Moreover, we also introduced our new friend who replaced Kanoko. Please to meet Russell.

Meanwhile, Mahoro is showing off her skills in balancing with two fingers.

New Year - New Term! Happy New Year!

Week 1: Sharing the Planet: How do we provide for animals?

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a great holiday!

Mainly this week, we reviewed everything we've learned in the previous term. In our Inquiry lesson, we discussed a bit about "How people provide for animals" and go over the previous lesson.

Also, we started practicing for our year-end performance that is somehow connected to our previous unit.

A visual record of the students' input and ideas on how People, Animals, and Plants help each other - Sharing the Planet.

This is how crazy they get when it's free dancing.

Casting: Auditioning for a certain role for their play.

Practicing their song:
Hope they would sing like this on stage and would forget about stage fright.

Tune in next week for other videos.

Meanwhile, our snow play turned to mud play was the highlight for this week aside from the Earthquake drill.
