Cooking 101

Week 3: Chocolate Pudding 

Cooking is a great activity for preschoolers. Bringing children into the kitchen can benefit them in a number of ways. Cooking can help develop social skills and life skills as you work together to create something. 

These activities provide hands-on experiences with math and science.

Morning Circle:

Math: 

We played a short simple game related to numbers

The students were asked to run and stand in front of the given number. 

Ex. Stand in front of number 5.

Identifying and tracing number

Snack and free-play:

We didn't listen to our teacher so we were given a timeout and we were asked to read a book.

Instead of reading books, we were playing so Ms. Bon asked Hana to teach them the alphabet.

Morning and Afternoon Recess:

Fixing my friend's hair

We want to shoot the ball so we asked Ms. Bon to be our ring.

Catching bugs

P.E. 

Last week, we learnt about "on and off." And this week, we learnt about "in and out."
