First Day of School
Some children and parents must probably be feeling excited and maybe a little anxious or a little scared on the first day of school because of all the new things: New teachers, new friends and maybe even a new school. But all these "new" worries will only stick around for a little while.
The first day/week can really be tough and challenging for both teachers and students for this age as they often struggle with change. Leaving the comforting rituals of life at home for a new set of people and rules can be scary.
Treat going to preschool as a process. Talking to your child and going into details would help them ease their mind. Tell them about the games they'll play, the kids they'll meet and how you'll always be there to pick them up at the end of the day.
