We had a very busy and full of experience week.

First of all, Preschool 3 students worked really hard on Mother's day craft, they love their mothers very much. In Japanese lessons, children draw their mothers's portraits then in inquiry lesson, we studied Mother's Day and they made painting.

They put two crafts together and decorated with their photos. After they saw the completed crafts, they were proud of themselves.

We congratulate Mother's day of our mothers and please enjoy masterpiece of your children.

沢山の経験をし、充実した1週間となりました。
まず、子ども達は大好きなお母さんのためにははの日の制作を一生懸命行いました。日本語の授業でお母さんの似顔絵を描き、クラスの探究の時間に「母の日」について知り、ペイントを行いました。２つの制作を１つにまとめ、写真と飾りをつけて完成です。出来上がった作品をみて、とても満足気な子ども達でした。
母の日おめでとうございます！お子様の最高の作品をどうぞお楽しみ下さい。

Fire Drill　火災訓練

On Thursday, we had first fire drill of school year, it was first fire drill experience of preschool 3 students.However it was first, they followed directions with care and we had smooth and successful fire drill.

At every new experience, preschool 3 students get used to school more and their self confidences raise.

先週木曜日に初めての火災時避難訓練が行われました。クラスの子ども達にとっての初体験です。初めてではありましたが、皆落ち着いて指示をきいてそれに従い、スムーズに非難することが出来ました。初めての経験を重ね、Preschool3のお友達は段々と学校にも慣れ、自信をつけていっています。

Language Exploration

We introduced alphabet, we showed shapes of letters as uppercase and lowercase. Then we introduced how they sound. We started with letter Aa in detail. Beside ABC song, we also sang letter Aa song. We also used starfall website to play alphabet game and focusing on letter Aa words. Next week, we will review letter Aa since it was first experience of students but following weeks, we will study consecutive letter one by one.

Students practiced to write letter Aa on their individual white boards.

言語の探究
アルファベットを取り上げ、大文字、小文字の形があることを学びました。それぞれのアルファベットをどう発音するかも勉強しました。全体を見た後に、アルファベットのAaから詳しく見ていきました。ABCの歌のほかにも、アルファベットAの歌もうたいました。スターフォールというサイトを利用し、アルファベットのゲームや、Aのつく単語も見ていきました。
来週は、勉強をはじめたばかりなのでアルファベットAaの復習から入り、他のアルファベット学習も1文字１文字行っていきたいと思います。
子ども達はそれぞれホワイトボードを使用し、アルファベットAの書き方を練習しました。
